There is an unmistakable energy that charges through every true competitor on the approach and electrifies the crowd as the club connects and sends the ball soaring across the fairway. Diamond Resorts International®, a global leader in the vacation ownership and hospitality industries, has harnessed this energy and produced “lightning in a bottle”; the Diamond Resorts Invitational® benefiting Florida Hospital
for Children, a golf event unrivalled by any other.
The Diamond Resorts Invitational™ has made its mark in the history of the sport with a ground-breaking format as it brings together PGA TOUR Champions, LPGA players and celebrities from the world of sports and entertainment to play side-by-side on national television for two separate purses totaling $1.2 million.
Since its inception more than five years ago, the Diamond Resorts Invitational™ has evolved into an unparalleled hospitality event, and the evolution is nothing short of extraordinary. At its roots, the event was inspired by philanthropic efforts, and grew from a simple concept: Deliver an unforgettable vacation experience. In 2013, Diamond Resorts Ambassador and PGA Touring Professional, Brian Gay, offered to
lend his name to the Diamond Resorts inaugural golf invitational in an effort to help raise money for the Orlando-based Florida Hospital for Children.
It’s from these seeds of generosity that a once amateur golf tournament grew into the Diamond Resorts Invitational™, a week-long, full-scale, multidimensional vacation experience. To date, the event has raised more than $2.3 million for Florida Hospital for Children.
With world-class on-the-course action, activities for all ages, family-friendly excursions, dinner parties and headline concerts, the Diamond Resorts Invitational™ returns once again to entertain, inspire and captivate audiences of all ages. When it comes to hospitality, there is no limit to what Diamond Resorts can and will do.
